El Paso Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers M/C

Big Red

Hello, and welcome to my page.  I am Trooper Bill “Big Red” Morgan, a native of Washington, DC.  I am a Retired Command Sergeant Major having served 28 years in the US Army.   I am a Vietnam Veteran and a Desert Storm Era Veteran.  After retiring from the Army, and still wanting to serve my country and be associated with the military, I took a position on the Joint Staff where I was involved in some of the planning and execution of the 2nd Gulf War.  I am now serving as a Government Contractor am a permanent resident of El Paso, TX.

My stallion, who always stands majestically, and is always ready to Giddy-Up and Go, is a “Candy Apple Red” GL1800 Goldwing.  Hence my road name, “Big Red,” and I love to ride.  When we ride, we ride in Remembrance of Our Fallen Comrades, who are unable to join us in body, but always join us in spirit, watch over us, and through their guiding hands, return us safely from each ride.

My Goal is to teach the heritage and honor the remembrance of the Buffalo Soldiers of yesteryear, and while doing so, ensure that through me, Black Soldiers of today and tomorrow remember their heritage as a Buffalo Soldier, and ensure the legacy of the Buffalo Soldier lives on.  I am also a proud member of the Donnie Brown El Paso Chapter of the Buffalo Soldier Association.

Always remember, “Life’s a Journey,” so be sure to “Enjoy the Ride.”
