My name is Dewayne” ROCK” Jones I am a soldier for the BSMC, El Paso, Texas Chapter. I am a native of Tucson, Arizona. I have been married to my queen Eartha “She-devil” Jones for almost 30 years. We have raised one prince and two princesses that have reared us six beautiful grandchildren. I retired from the US Army with over 21 years of dedicated service. I am now a contractor working with the military here in sunny El Paso, Texas. In my family we say “have served and still serving proudly.” That is because we are all still serving our country, state, city and communities, one way or another.

My horse of choice is a Goldwing. As we ride our horses of today we are emulating our brethren of the past. Through the grace of God, as he is our protector we always pray that he watches over us to and from wherever we ride.

I first came across the El Paso Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club at a motorcycle function for Wounded Warriors at Harley Davidson. My wife and I were so impressed by their comradeship that we asked if we could ride with them, and we have been riding ever since. The Buffalo Soldiers of yesteryear were known for their fierce tenacity in dealing with whatever they faced. This tenacity is what drives each and everyone one of us in this chapter to preserve the memory of the Buffalo Soldiers. We are charged to ensure the youth and our communities are aware of their Buffalo Soldier legacy. I am very proud to say that I am a member of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club.

Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.
